The Seitron RGI000MBX2 Gas Detection Control Unit is a compact DIN rail-mounted controller designed specifically for small power plants, boiler rooms, and industrial gas safety applications. Supporting up to two remote gas sensors, it provides reliable gas leak monitoring and automatic alarm management to help protect personnel, equipment, and facilities from hazardous gas leaks.

The control unit continuously monitors connected gas detectors and provides immediate visual alarm indication when abnormal gas concentrations are detected. When a gas alarm occurs, Relay Output 1 is activated immediately for pre-alarm devices such as sirens or warning lights. If the gas concentration remains above the alarm threshold for approximately 15 seconds, Relay Output 2 activates a gas shut-off solenoid valve to isolate the gas supply and enhance system safety.

Designed for installation inside standard electrical panels, the RGI000MBX2 features a compact 3-module DIN rail enclosure, Test and Reset buttons, and support for an optional 12V backup battery to maintain operation during power failures. It is suitable for use in non-ATEX classified areas.
